TIME Magazine Article Thoughts
After his death, Picasso became more famous than he already was because more paintings were found and their value had grown due to his death. With Salinger gone, if there are works that have not yet been found, they are priceless. He is considered one of the greatest American authors ever and finding new stories would shoot his legacy to the stars. On the negative side, if this would happen, a movie for "The Catcher in the Rye" would inevitably follow. If other stories were found, the attention would leave "The Catcher in the Rye" and that would leave the family open for a movie being made. I doubt they could do anything about it since he's dead. I think that if there are other works, Salinger isn't nearly as famous right now as he will be in the future.
